Initial trophy was donated in 1980 by Datin Yun Mustafa and in 2008 this trophy was replaced by the club.  The competition is held annually over 18 holes, based on Combined Stableford Points.   Gentlemen golfer play off a maximum handicap of 24, whilst ladies shall play off a maximum handicap of 36.  All competitors are to play off 90% of his/her Club handicap and must have participated in at least 3 monthly medals or any club organized competition within the last 6 months prior to the date of this competition.
