Kelab Rekreasi Tentera Udara (KRTU) was opened in 1987 and though with only 18 holes, it featured two distinct nines of constrasting characters. The first nine is known as Tasik Nine for its numerous ponds and is more challenging. The second nine is known as Sawit Nine for the palm trees that line most of the fairways. Overall, KRTU's layout with numerous water hazards, sand traps and OB make the fairways tight. It is for all to 'come, see and conquer'.  The most talked about holes are the par 3s at the 5th and 7th and par 4 of the 12th and 18th hole.  It demands exacting accuracy that makes club selection important.
